Resources to Download Data for FREE:

Kaggle: This is a popular data website because it offers many datasets covering many industries and interests. I love this website because you can search for data that is fascinating to you. Click HERE to check Kaggle out.

Tableau Public: The same website where you can download a free version of Tableau also offers some fun, usable datasets providing data about business, Netflix, Pokémon, NFL, FIFA, and other interesting topics. There are many less datasets to choose from on Tableau Public than the other listed sites, but every dataset I’ve used has been interesting and usable. Click HERE to check this resource out.

IPUMS: This website is a bit more difficult to use than the other two, but offers some great survey data you can use for projects. You might need to watch a YouTube video to figure this site out, but I’ve used IPUMS before for projects and was very happy with the data. Check it out HERE.
